Alix jumped into the world of child welfare with her husband and 3 kiddos in 2020 when they started the journey of becoming a licensed foster family.
From the moment the first child was placed in their home (who later became their son), they were surrounded by a “village” of people who came alongside them and supported them through the overwhelming, incredible story that God had planned for them. She now has a strong desire to love and support other families who are impacted by the child welfare system, because she knows she couldn’t have done it alone.
Alix is the Middle School Girls Coordinator at her church and holds a bachelor's degree from Dallas Baptist University with a double concentration in Communications and Religion. In her spare time, she loves going to plays, singing karaoke, watching the Dallas Mavericks, playing all kinds of games with her family, and laughing at everything with her amazing husband.
